Jane Street is a quantitative trading company we engaged on a holistic rebranding campaign. Their limited brand presence belied their success as a tech savvy global player in the financial marketplace. Our goal was to craft an image that better reflected their innovative culture and standing.

Our initial efforts focused on their website which would be the sounding board to establish far reaching brand equities. Several of our options were more radical in their consideration of how to update the corporate identity. However our final solution would embrace an evolutionary approach to the logo amid a more transformational use of color, texture and imagery.

We worked with Corey Hendrickson, our photographer to capture candid, journalistic images of the Jane Street team in New York at work. Leveraging these images the site illustrates their cultural emphasis on learning while providing more robust recruiting information to both English and Japanese users.

It’s printed counterpart is a collateral kit, which consists of a custom folder and a series of stepped inserts– each focusing on a specific career-track. Conceptually, the piece speaks to a collegiate audience by relating the company's emphasis on intellectual growth with growth in the financial marketplace.

They are handed out at premier colleges and universities as part of the broader series of brand communications including print advertising, promotional fliers, their event display booths, and some fun premium applications.
