It&#039;s logo needed to visualize the concept of alumni contributions at the same time it visually invoked the brand equities of its parent organization.&lt;/p&gt;

While the Alumni for Public Schools website would be developed by the team from Blackbaude, we were consulted to begin planning the site and create design templates for the home and project pages. 
&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
Like the &lt;a href=&quot;/branding/portfolio/alumni-public-schools-identity&quot;&gt;logo&lt;/a&gt;, our site designs needed to build on the brand equities of the initiative&#039;s parent organization, the Fund for Public Schools.  However, it was also important to develop a distinct vision so as to differentiate the two.  We did this through a richer use of the Fund&#039;s pallet, and through the introduction of the flying cap header.
&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
As always our designs were built with an eye toward production and an understanding of how they related to the site&#039;s architecture. While we were not involved in their implementation, our contribution established an aesthetic guideline as well as technical recommendations for their production.
&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
We&#039;re honored to have had the website selected for a 2011 American Graphic Design Award in the interactive category by Graphic Design USA.

&lt;p&gt;The Ani Art Academies site represented something of a brand merger. On one hand it is the new educational outlet of acclaimed artist Anthony Waichulis. On the other hand it is the charitable sibling of Ani Villas.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As such, our foremost design challenge was to incorporate the characteristics of both brands. The resulting site design closely leverages the layout and typography of its namesake, but draws its use of color, texture and line-work from the Waichulis School. Not to mention their gorgious library of visuals.&lt;/p&gt;

We engaged their team on a brand update of their own to redesign their corporate identity so it better reflected the company&#039;s professionalism. This evolutionary solution maintained and enhanced identifyable equities including the schematic initials, but jettisoned the awkward copperplate typography in favor of a more contemporary treatment.&amp;nbsp; The end result is a compact extractable brand unit that is as refreshed s it is recognizable.&lt;/p&gt;

We designed a stationery system that represents “cutting edge” while playing off the &lt;a href=&#039;/branding/portfolio/counteredge-identity&#039;&gt;CounterEdge logo&lt;/a&gt; that is also symbolic of the green innovations &lt;a href=&#039;/branding/portfolio/clients/counteredge&#039;&gt;CounterEdge&lt;/a&gt; has pioneered. &lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Business cards:&lt;/strong&gt; The design of the cards was intended to quickly represent forward-thinking. The contact information is kept clean and crisp, and the backside introduced the the directional texture—subtly playing off the logomark to speak to momentum and green innovation.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Letterhead and Envelope:&lt;/strong&gt; The layout is clean with judicious use of the color green—a natural fit for the company that makes custom cut eco-friendly countertops.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Fax:&lt;/strong&gt; This digital Fax Coversheet was delivered as a form enabled PDF for quick population by staff.  And of course the clean design makes use of various brand elements&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Shop Form:&lt;/strong&gt; The three page digital shop form was also delivered as a PDF for circulation via email and website.  The document continues to build on brand equities while organizing this deceptively complex communication in a new horizontal orientation.&lt;/li&gt;

The entire system or printed elements was executed on 100% post consumer recycled Rolland cover and text, earning it an FSC certification to emphasize the company&#039;s smart and thoughtful approach to the environment.

&lt;p&gt;The design of Hendrickson Photography&#039;s stationery pieces, like its &lt;a href=&#039;/branding/portfolio/hendrickson-photography-identity&#039;&gt;brand identity&lt;/a&gt; is inspired by the understated authenticity of the artist himself, Corey Hendrickson.  
&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
As such, they are shaped from a brand pallet that leveraged naturalist tones, lowercase serif typography and graphical asymmetry as a means of embodying the simply candor of his images.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
We&#039;re honored to have had the suite selected for a 2010 American Graphic Design Award in the Stationery category by Graphic Design USA.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;We recommended a Slim Jim structure knowing that a 4x9 roll fold would not only make for a nice hand-out, but could make for a communication that is both quick and robust.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Through a varied use of copy, imagery, and graphics, we were able to create a communication that was both on-brand, and noticeably more formal.&lt;/p&gt;

The site was designed to serve as an informative backstop for the broader Keep it Going initiative by providing seasonal tips to parents on how to stay involved with their kid’s education. Additionally, it featured a custom media player and newsletter sign-up to help sustain involvement.
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
To ensure easy maintenance each quarter the site was build using the Drupal CMS.  Including rich text editing of content, uploading of videos, as well as the ability to add edit and remove statistics from all of the Flash animations.

The designs would prove to be a visual milestone in the way in which they place new emphasis on the companies relationship with retail packaging.

Most notably, the re-designed business cards would mark the introduction of the wireframe shelf illustration, adding perspective to PRS—that its technology benefits retailers. Additionally, it also placed new emphasis on the &#039;win at retail&#039; message, which was found within copywriting previously used by PRS.
&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The cards were produced using a full bleed, two-sided, 3/3c print job on a high-quality Finch Fine cover stock. Additionally, PRS&#039; cards were designed for &#039;shell&#039; expansion, allowing for the addition of new lots without the added cost of re-staging the entire press run.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Transparent Financial offers ethical debt settlement programs and mortgage refinancing services.&amp;nbsp; In developing their brand icon we used the t and f letters to form the downward arrow in reference to debt reduction.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Knowing potential customers may be coming from a place of vulnerability and doubt, the lowercase, serif typography was selected to communicate approachability and professionalism.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We&#039;re honored to have had the logo selected for a 2010 American Graphic Design Award in the identity category by Graphic Design USA.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Vecdr Studio is a vector based illustration company whose artworks is tonally light and playful.  Thus it was fitting that we develop a name and identity that played on words and convention.  With it&#039;s campy spelling and visual spin on the medical caduceus, the logo speaks to both expertise and levity.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We are honored to hear of the the logos &quot;probable&quot; inclusion in the forthcoming LogoLounge Master Library 3000 Shapes and Symbols, the third book in the new Master Library series from Rockport Publishing.&lt;/p&gt;
