Hendrickson Photography Identity

Corey Hendrickson's photographic style explores portraiture with authenticity. While his images are often posed, his subjects are real people – wrinkles and all.

Knowing this, we developed his brand identity to capture, the simple, understated and imperfect character of his imagery. The distressed lowercase "H" icon represented in a natural green hue embodies his modest and raw approach.

The design of Hendrickson Photography's stationery pieces, like its brand identity is inspired by the understated authenticity of the artist himself, Corey Hendrickson.

As such, they are shaped from a brand pallet that leveraged naturalist tones, lowercase serif typography and graphical asymmetry as a means of embodying the simply candor of his images.

We're honored to have had the suite selected for a 2010 American Graphic Design Award in the Stationery category by Graphic Design USA.

The S3 Thermal Imaging business card redesign was part of the larger rebranding campaign that introduced a more technical and contemporary visualization of the company. Their design marked the full fleshing out of the S3 brand pallet including color, typography and texture including the fiery background that embodies the concept of heat.

The cards were produced using a full bleed, two sided, 4/2 print job on a high quality Finch Fine cover stock.

Identity rebrand for S3 Thermal Imaging, a business offering infrared photographic services to help identify electrical, residential, medical and veterinary issues that are invisible to the naked eye.

In what was a revolutionary rebranding effort, our logos explored the visualization of heat through color and the thermographic spectrum as well as the concept of a reveal. Our ultimate solution captured the technical nature of the service through a more contemporary icon and typography.

The S3 Thermal Imaging landing pages established a temporary brand presence for the company while their more robust site was being developed. It features an interactive Flash piece allowing users to compare traditional and infrared photographs.

The S3 Interactive brand presence is a primarily information driven website. In addition to content outlining the companies services it features an interactive Flash piece and contact. All while embodying the pallet, typography and technical voice that defines the brand.

S3 Thermal Imaging's website is built on the powerful Drupal content management system. The CMS allows for dynamic content, as well as the adding, editing and removal of articles and images.
