The Blue Sky Building Systems Design Criteria guide was more than just a collateral piece. It was the first step in a broader brand initiative. Leveraging a library or architectural renderings, and an existing identity we introduced elements of composition, typography, texture, and illustration.
The company's innovative system of interlocking steel frames and wall systems allows architects to create structured that defy previous limitations at a fraction of the cost and with considerably less waste. This collateral piece sought to communicate these benefits both aesthetically and technically.
Nowhere does this occur more successfully than the iconic cover image which fuses photography and illustration to showcase the frame's role in action. Meanwhile, our interior speaks to a minimal aesthetic by balancing robust technical content with a clean, high-end visual approach.
