The Keep it going NYC website appeals to parents aesthetically by invoking traditional classroom visuals like the chalkboards and manila folders. It builds on the branding established by the brand identity through it's use of apple reds and italic typography.
The site was designed to serve as an informative backstop for the broader Keep it Going initiative by providing seasonal tips to parents on how to stay involved with their kid’s education. Additionally, it featured a custom media player and newsletter sign-up to help sustain involvement.
To ensure easy maintenance each quarter the site was build using the Drupal CMS. Including rich text editing of content, uploading of videos, as well as the ability to add edit and remove statistics from all of the Flash animations.
